Sult.

Dear Friends
Yesterday I took these photos at our maize selling point at Kande, so as to give you a picture of what the situation is like, regarding the food shortage. A government vehicle had come and left 200 bags of maize for sale at the maize selling point. Kande and the areas around has a population of 24,000 people. So, many people came to buy the maize. There was a big commotion and fighting, with everyone waiting to buy the maize. It was sad to see helpless women carrying children at their backs, with other children waiting for food at holme. So sad! Thank for your concern in this situation for our children.

Receive picture of one of the trucks which brought maize yesterday. Maize distribution will be on Monday and the foster parents will collect the maize at Sigvart’s container.
